What is parent Coaching?
1
Parent coaching is personalized support designed to help you better understand your child's behavior, build practical parenting strategies, and strengthen your confidence.
Rather than focusing on changing your child, coaching focuses on helping parents understand behavior, respond intentionally, and teach the lifelong skills children need to thrive.
What ages do you work with?

Will coaching solve everything?
I work with parents of children from toddlers through the teen years.
Because my background is in Early Intervention and Special Education, many of the families I support have young children. However, the parenting principles, emotional regulation strategies, and executive functioning skills we build apply across childhood and adolescence.
Do you work outside the Capital Region?
Is parent coaching therapy?
3
No.
Parent coaching is not therapy, counseling, or mental health treatment.
Coaching is educational and collaborative. Together we'll identify goals, understand behavior, develop practical strategies, and build the skills needed to create meaningful change at home.

What if I don't know which coaching program is right for me?
I don't believe behavior is something to simply "fix."
Behavior is communication.
My Parent Pause Framework™ helps parents understand what skills their child is still learning while balancing connection, accountability, compassion, and clear boundaries.
The goal isn't perfect behavior.
The goal is helping children build the lifelong social-emotional and executive functioning skills they'll need long after childhood.
That's exactly what the complimentary Discovery Call is for.
We'll discuss your family's goals, current challenges, and the level of support that would be most beneficial. I'll recommend the coaching option that best fits your family's needs.
